Week 2 Retrospective

We started off the week with a review of our art bibles for the first module project. I had also completed my initial blockout of my level so included a perspective shot of that with annotations. Throughout this week I developed the blockout and made a start on the structural assets for the level (walls and floors).
We dove deeper into Maya, taking a look at UV mapping and the various methods of bringing UV-mapped models into UE4. We also had an introduction to Substance Painter which provides amazing control over the texturing process. My experience of texturing in Photoshop is almost completely useless nowadays.
